Blackberry 10 at last RIM drops name for Blackberry

Seemed like eternity to come but RIM's Blackberry 10 launch date, January 30 2013 eventually came. Blackberry Z10, and Q10 were presented by CEO Thorsten Heins.

Myths about the look, the features, and the price got shattered but the real news is that Research in Motion Ltd said it now wants to be called just Blackberry.

New Blackberry 10 whose actual look leaked several times over was finally launched earlier today in Manhattan New York and six other cities worldwide. The issue is if its coming will return the pioneer Smartphone maker to the top rank, at least in USA. RIM needs this launch like hell, just to do that.

Emerging markets? No problem, perhaps. It is the numbers that count and emerging markets have it. Just that the USA sets the trend in technology applications. Nigeria for example is one surprising large (maybe not big) market if we are sure it is not a pirated devices den. Everybody goes about with a Bb here said a CyberschuulNews contact.

RIMS is also targeting carriers, a smart move indeed as far as theory goes.
